Daniel Branchard, master artisan art Ceramist born in 1960 at Vallauris, this city universaly know for its art of earth and firee, settles there after studies of shaper and decorator on ceramic and take over with his brother en 1980, the family workshop their father created 23 years eurlier.
In 1993, he starts a more personal and artistic work. Passionate by travel and encounters, he draws there its inspiration, full of naivety, symbolism and warmth. Turner, sculptor, modeller, but also alchemist by creating his own colors, he gives life at his works in his workshop to Vallauris, where he becam master artisan art Ceramist in 2008.
He loves meeting other potters, going abroad to exchange different working techniques with artist from Europe but also from South America, Magreb or East Contries.
He exposes permanentely at the Gallery Branch'Art at Vallauris, at the Acropolis Palace of Nice and his pieces are also visible at the Museum of Pottery at Vallauris as well as at the Museum of Ceramic at Budapest and Hodmezovasarhely.
